Hi Everyone,
Well, I have completed my first full month in my new gallery and what a fun time it has been. A big thank you to all the many people that came on opening night and throughout the month. It has been a real pleasure to see all of you.
This month’s feature is titled “Downtown”. I’ve wanted to paint a series of downtown buildings for sometime and April seemed like a good time for several reasons. The
Lancaster Art Walk is the weekend of April 21st and I just moved downtown, so April seemed perfect. I’ve enjoyed painting this series so much that I’m thinking of another downtown series in the future.
Tonight April 6, from 5:00 – 9:00, is First Friday in
Lancaster. That means that the streets of
Lancaster will be full of people visiting the opening receptions of new artists and new shows for the month of April. Many galleries will be serving refreshments and some galleries include live music. It’s a busy night in
Lancaster so if dinning out is part or your plans, reservations may be necessary.
