News & New Art! March 2008
Hi everyone, This week we will be celebrating our first anniversary at the gallery. A whole year has gone by and it was a good year. I've meet so many wonderful and interesting people. Thanks for your business, you've all helped to make our first year a success. I hope my artwork brings much joy to you for many years. We've also enjoyed coming to many of your beautiful homes and I especially liked seeing my artwork in your homes. Thank you everyone for a good year.
I'm excited about this months show. It's called "Pets are Paramount" . The whole show is of a dog named Gideon. One day a young lady came in my gallery with this beautiful chocolate lab. He was so beautiful and well behaved even tho he was still a puppy. As the young lady and I were talking Gideon laid down on my rug and fell asleep. Well I fell in love with him. I asked her if I could paint him. She being a photographer, went home and took a lot of pictures of him, and brought them back for me. Well that is what this whole series came from. Gideon and the young lady came into the gallery quite a lot after that first visit. As a lot of you know I am an animal lover. And in the rest of my gallery I will be hanging all of my other animal paintings also and many other subjects too. So all you animal lovers don't miss my show this month.
I get to paint everyday here at the gallery and I love it. I have a lot of ideas for paintings brewing in my head so keep checking back to see my new work.
