This oil painting, "the cross," was inspired by an image in Julia's mind. She had nothing to paint this picture from other than the impression that God placed inside of her. Julia is struck anew by God's unfailing and never-ending love, every time she thinks of what He did for her on the cross. This oil painting serves as a reminder to Julia of God's amazing love and mercy.
