Today pumpkins are available in many different shapes and colors. Their different characteristics caught Julia's artistic eye, and she has arranged five of them in this beautifully composed painting. Using thick brush strokes and bright orange hues for some, the off-white versions hold the beautiful reflections of the colors of the other pumpkins, as does the lively background.
