Description
An impressionistic oil painting of Bluebirds by Julia Swartz. Julia’s Amish neighbor trained her Bluebirds to come when she called them. She would feed them mealworms and would call out, her Birdie, Bridie, Bridie every time she fed them. Sure enough, they soon learned to come when she called them. Julia watched this happen and this experience is the inspiration for this painting.
